He's Here - Finally!

Well, Alex finally made his appearance on Tuesday at 9:15 in the morning (8 pounds, 1 ounce, 20.5 inches long). Talk about an ordeal - 27 hours to be exact. When people say that labor is like running a marathon, they aren't kidding. It was an exhausting experience but totally worth it. And I'm proud of myself for doing it naturally (besides the pitocin). I did ask for an epidural at one point but Justin conspired against me - and I'm glad he did because there is no way I would have been able to push the amount of time I ended up pushing (over two hours) had I had an epidural. But Alex is here, he's healthy, he's precious and I'm ready to start the new chapter of my life.

I'll upload more pictures later. Everyone will probably be tired of all the pictures I'm going to end up loading on here :)

Yay! He's so cute!

How are you feeling? I haven't talked to you since his arrival day.

I'm hyper-emotional :(

I can't seem to talk to anybody without crying. I'll call you when I get over the hormonal crap :)
